The Move for a Cause 5K is a 5K race that will be held in Downtown Liberty, SC on Saturday, April 30th at 9:00 AM with a rain makeup day of May 7th. We are raising funds this year for Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical non-governmental organization best known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases. Every step we move will benefit these healthcare workers and their international missions!
The race will begin and end at Liberty First Baptist. It is a road/pavement course with a maximum incline of 124 feet. The map of the course can be found here. There will be medal prizes for the top 3 racers in age categories as determined once registration is finished. Registration cost is only $25! This will cover a Dri-fit T-Shirt (limited quantity available), race registration, bib and timing, and water and a snack for after the race.
The 5K is presented by the Liberty High School Interact Club- a high school affiliate of the Easley Rotary Club that works to promote service above self and international understanding.
