Fall 2025 First Strides Mentor Kick-off August 28
First Strides session 11 weeks from September 4th through November 13 - Thursday evenings between 5:30 - 7pm
Registration here is for Women that are interested in being a MENTOR for the beginning running and walking group during the above dates.
Qualifications:
- Heart of a teacher, nurse, caregiver, nurturer.
- Willing to volunteer 1 1/2 hours+ weekly to share your talents and mentor participants.
- Willing to volunteer with other volunteers. Working collaboratively for the good of many.
- Female
Desired attributes:
- Ability to stand/stride at least one hour at a time.
- Have the time during these dates to be present at least 8-11 weeks.
- Take directions and apply with common sense
- Willingness to be silly and have a little fun
