Love in Action 5K

VIRTUAL 5K October 2023 (run/walk any day in October)

Volunteers in Medical Missions (VIMM) is excited to announce that we will be hosting our Annual 5K Run/Walk VIRTUALLY in 2023!

Why virtually? - because it is really hard to compete with football Saturday's in SC in the fall. But most importantly because we have partners and supporters throughout the US, and the VIRTUAL 5K gives each of you an opportunity to introduce VIMM to your loved ones, co-workers, church groups, etc. while enjoying fun and fellowship.

When you participate, you are supporting a ministry that is doing great work around the world! Can you imagine how many people will walk 3.1 miles with purpose in October to benefit people who are in desperate need of medical attention and medication around the world? WE CAN and we are EXCITED!!!

Q&A:

How does it work? Participants will be able to complete the 5k distance and submit their time virtually in our results section. 

Will there be prizes? YES! There will be random prize drawings. Prizes will be mailed to winners. 

Fundraising GOAL? $10,000; proceeds from the VIRTUAL 5K benefit Volunteers in Medical Missions and the people we serve. VIMM is a faith-based nonprofit, established in 1986, addressing the global healthcare crisis through short-term medical missions in developing countries. Our mission is to help bring hope and healing to our brothers and sisters in need around the world.
