We are incredibly sorry to share the news that SD’s Laziest Race is cancelled for tomorrow, June 22. Our first priority at The Compass Center is safety, and with the large amounts of flooding and storms, we cannot in good conscience put together the event in the way we’d like.
BUT, we are so grateful to JJ’s Wine & Spirits for allowing us a rescheduled date! Please join us on SATURDAY, JULY 20. Same time, same event, just a little under a month away!
Quick facts:
Your original sign up will be honored for July 20.
If you cannot make the July 20 date, your sign up will be honored in the form of a donation to TCC. Your prizes and shirt for sign-up will be available for pick up at TCC after July 20.

Description
South Dakota's Laziest Race
We're calling all couch potatoes everywhere for the return of the Compass Center 0.5K: "South Dakota's Laziest Race". Enjoy camaraderie with fellow non-runners, enjoy the great outdoors, and have a beer (or root beer) on us.
Details
NEW this year the event is broken into 3 sections; a launchpad to warm-up and stretch while powering your body with refreshing drinks and great food; a leisurely 'race' through the 1/3 mile course (which can be completed at any pace); and a recovery lounge to rejuvenate and cool down after making it across the finish line.
The Cause
The Compass Center works with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, providing counseling and advocacy services at no cost for as long as service is needed. More than 1000 men, women, and children receive services every year thanks to generous donors. This "race" is YOUR chance to support survivors in our community! You can also click the 'Donate' button above and start your own fundraiser for the agency.

We are stocking up on goodies for you so you can proudly show off your racing prowess all year long. Stay tuned for updates on what your swag bag will include!
