Fall Into Mud Run

Hope House of Cocke County is pleased to announce our first annual Fall Into Mud Run. We cordially invite you to participate as an athlete at this event. This event is organized as a fundraiser to support the building of a homeless shelter in Cocke County, TN.

Just 5 minutes from I-81, on Sept 17th, beginning at 8 am in Bybee, TN, timed slots for the Mighty Mudder will commence at 15 min intervals. The Mini Mudder (for kids) will run concurrently on a separate course. Awards will be given to top qualifiers and t-shirts and medals for all pre-registered participants. Mighty, medi, and mini sponsors will be allowed to set up tables for the duration of the race. Sponsors and runners are welcome to celebrate and buy a meal from our food truck options after the race. 

There are two options to race, the 5k Mighty, and the mini for our little friends!  Register for your race, and let's fall into mud for the Hope House!

Hello Runners!
Thank you to those who have already signed up for our first annual Fall Into Mud Run to benefit the Hope House of Cocke County. We are so excited to host this event for the first time, and honored for you to join us. We wanted to share a few housekeeping items with you before the day of the race:

• Packet pickup will open at 7:30. 
  Once you have completed packet pickup, make sure to avoid the roped-off mats at the start area until you are ready to begin the race so that your race chip does not register your start incorrectly.
  The first runners will start at 8 AM, but racers may start at 8, 8:05, 8:10, etc until 9 AM. Your race chip will register your run duration independent of your start time.
• Skipping obstacles on the 5K will disqualify you from winning the race.
• The award for coming in first, second, or third overall in the 5K is a 20 oz. Hope House branded tumbler.
• If a runner decides they would like some additional challenge upon completion of the 5K, they are welcome to return their race chip and continue on our other loop to run an additional 3 miles. The only obstacle on this loop is the terrain itself.
• If you choose to run the additional loop, please alert a race official so we are aware of who is still on the course.
• Kids' mile will begin at 9 AM, and racers can start in 5 minute increments until 10 AM. Their race will begin in the same location as the adult race.
• Depending on age and skillset, kids can stop after their obstacle course, or continue on for an additional two obstacles to add difficulty to the race. This will be marked for the kids, and marked for the parents to spectate.
• KO.B Fusion food truck and Kona Ice will be on-site for refreshments. Cash is preferred due to limited cell signal for card transactions.
• Sports drinks, water, and s'mores will be sold by The Hope House. Cash is required due to credit card processing fees.
