CASA's Superhero 5K/Walk

oin CASA of Bradley and Polk Counties for our Superhero 5K/Walk! Superheroes are often known as individuals with extraordinary abilities, ready to step in and save the day. To CASA, superheroes are ordinary citizens going out of their way to help children in need of a voice. The Superhero 5K/Walk is an opportunity to raise awareness about the pressing need in our community for everyday heroes to swoop in and stand up for vulnerable children. Superhero costumes are welcomed and encouraged for the 5K race or 1-mile walk! 

The Superhero 5K/Walk will take place on the Cleveland Greenway, beginning at Greenway Park. Below is a timeline of events for race day:
7:30 AM - Welcome and Announcements
7:40 AM - Warm-up led by Body by Hannah
8:00 AM - 5K Run Begins
8:15 AM - 1 Mile Walk Begins
9:00 AM - Presentation of awards and bagels provided by Panera Bread
We will be presenting awards for the fastest runners and the best costumes we see, including:

Medals for the fastest runner in each age category and, both male and female
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place medals for the top three fastest runners overall, both male and female
A gift card to Terra Running Company for the fastest runner overall, both male and female
A gift card to High Point Climbing and Fitness rock climbing gym for the best adult costume
Five play passes for Jumpin' Junction amusement center for the best youth costume
A prize from Bark! Luxury Pet Resort for the best dog costume
Packet pick-up will take place at Terra Running Company in Downtown Cleveland on May 14th from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. At this time, you will be given your timing chip, Superhero 5K/Walk t-shirt, and race bag, which includes several fun items from our sponsoring organizations. Race registration will be available at this time, as well as the morning of the race. If you are unable to make it to packet pick-pick up, you will be able to collect your packet the morning of the race at the registration table.
