McCloud Mountain 5K & Trail run

Welcome all to the prized land of McCloud Mountain on the upper plateau!

For this event McCloud Mountain is opening the gates of the property to allow runners and spectators the opportunity to view some spectacular views across the property and throughout the 5K course. Proceeds will benefit the property as well as local charity partners who help with operations throughout the year. 

***UPDATE We regrettably will be canceling the 2024 race event.  Due to strains from rescheduling and participant numbers the event plans to return in 2025 stronger than ever!  Be on the look out for new updates coming soon. Refunds and phone calls will be made to all registered individuals.

Two race options will exist: 

Traditional 5K: this will have a mix of Asphalt and gravel terrain. For the traditional road runners with a slight change up with gravel. 

Trail 5K: This race is exclusively Trail! All soft terrain with less than 150meters on any paved surface, come check out the rugged clean trials up on the mountain!

Awards will be awarded to top 3 per gender overall as well as top age group per 10 year increment. Overall winners for men and women will each receive a voucher for one nights stay at the property hotel on site, valued over $200. Other awards will feature day passes to return to the property on open dates for pictures, picnic and fall foliage photoshoots, you definitely will want to come back!

**Be advised, this event takes place over 2200ft above sea level and may affect individuals differently. Temperatures are normally 10-15 degrees cooler in the morning than lower points in the area.
