Description
Join us for our 20th Annual HEAT Kid's Triathlon on Saturday August 9, 2025 at 7 am. There are two race divisions. Juniors: ages 6-10 and Seniors: ages 11-15. The 6-10 year olds will swim a 50 yard pool swim, bike 2 miles, and run 1 mile. The 11-15 years olds (Seniors) will swim a 100 yard pool swim, bike 4 miles, and run 2 miles.
*USAT (USA Triathlon) rules require that the age that is used is the age as of 12/31 of the race year. So, make sure you are clear if you have a 10 year old, for example that will be 11 before the end of the year that they are required to race in the Senior age troup.

Training Clinic (Race Preview)
The Jon Hall Training Clinic is offered on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 3:00pm at the Hendersonville YMCA. This gives athletes an opportunity to get in a quick swim, a bike ride and an abbreviated run. Experienced triathletes will provide guidance and suggestions for gear and managing the transitions between events. If you're interested, please send an email to heatkidstriathlon@gmail.com with your kids name and age.
