Union County 10k/5k & Fun Run

Welcome to the Inaugural Union County 10k/5k & Fun Run.

Union County is home to Big Ridge State Park, Loyston Point Campground, Norris Lake, the award-winning "The Winery at Seven Springs Farm", beautiful rural roads, and "Thunder Road". Union County is the birthplace of Carl Smith, Roy Acuff, Kenny Chesney, Chet Atkins, and Florence Reece.

Registration Fees:

• 5k: $25 until March 31st, $35 April 1st - April 31st, $45 May 1st - May 4th (Race Day)
• 10k: $30 until March 31st, $40 April 1st - April 31st, $50 May 1st - May 4th (Race Day)
• Fun Run: $5, or free with 2 cans of non-perishable goods.
• NO REFUNDS AND NO BIB TRANSFERS

Date, Time, & Place: Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at 7:30 am. Starts and Finishes at Union County High School, 150 Main St., Maynardville, TN 37807.

Directions: From Knoxville, take the Broadway exit I-640, and head north on Broadway (Hwy 33) for 18 miles. Union County High School will be on the right side.

Race Etiquette: Due to insurance regulations, roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course. Headphones are prohibited. Anyone caught wearing headphones will be disqualified and removed from the results.

A part of all proceeds raised will go towards the American Cancer Society.

Race personnel reserve the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race or modify the course due to inclement weather. As stated on registration and race pages, there are no refunds or transfers. Participants must abandon the race if ordered to do so by the race personnel, medical staff, fire/paramedics or police personnel.
