The STREET HOPE TN 5,000-Mile Challenge, by F3 Knoxville

Hey everyone! Please join F3 Knoxville for our first-ever week-long virtual activity challenge! We're aiming to log a whopping 5,000 miles together as a group. It's all for a great cause—raising awareness about the serious issue of human trafficking right here in our community.

Throughout the week of October 6-12, all participants will track their own miles wherever you want to log them. Whether you're walking, running, cycling, or doing your favorite activity, every mile counts towards our goal!

Not only are we spreading awareness, but we're also fundraising for Street Hope TN, a nonprofit in Knoxville, TN that supports survivors of human trafficking from our community. The money raised will directly help in their recovery and restoration. Let's make a difference together!

Street Hope TN works to eliminate the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children in Tennessee and provide safe environments to foster hope and healing through Jesus Christ. We carry out our mission through awareness, prevention, restoration and prayer. 

The first step to eradicating slavery is letting people know it exists today. There are no limits to where this darkness can and will travel. We engage people through events, presentations, and educational programs.

We work hard to prevent child sexual exploitation from ever happening by equipping youth and adults with sexual exploitation and trafficking prevention
education through our Project POST Curriculum, Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (DMST) Trainings, and Internet Safety Trainings.

Garland Oaks, a program of Street Hope TN, is one of the first safe homes in East Tennessee for young girls ages 12 to 17 who are survivors of domestic minor sex trafficking. Girls at Garland Oaks will receive education, enrichment opportunities, counseling and will find healing, hope, love and a safe place to rest.

We know that bringing an end to sex trafficking can only be accomplished through regular prayer and seeking the Lord’s heart with each step. We facilitate prayer gatherings where believers come together boldly before the throne of the Lord and pray for freedom, justice, and restoration.

F3 is a national network of free, peer-led workouts for men. Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership. Started in 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina, F3 is now in 48 states, on 5 continents, with more than 4,205 scheduled workouts a week through the volunteer efforts of men whose lives have been changed by their involvement with the group.

The three Fs in our name stand for Fitness, Fellowship and Faith — the last of which we define as not one specific religion or faith system, but simply a belief in something outside oneself.

Our workouts …
Are free of charge
Are open to all men
Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary
End with a Circle of Trust
We welcome men of all fitness levels to our workouts and have no requirement for membership other than that you show up at the appointed time and place and follow what the workout leader (the “Q” in F3 lingo) does.
