Description
Start the holiday season off right, choose between a non-competitive FUN RUN, TIMED 5K, or UNTIMED 5K. This event is perfect for all ages and family members.
After the race stick around for the annual tree lighting and holiday festival including Santa, light-up displays, crafts, food, trucks, entertainment and much more.
HOLLY JOLLY FUN RUN (Starts 4:00PM)
This non-competitive run is perfect for beginners, young families, or others who want to experience the excitement of race day without the pressure of a timed race.
HOLLY JOLLY 5K
TIMED 5K:( Starts at 4:35PM) A competitive run open to all ages, timing chips are attached to the race bibs, results are recorded when you cross the finish line. Awards are based on specific age groups.
UNTIMED 5K: (Starts at 4:40PM) New this year you can run/walk the 5K untimed. This is for those who don't care about their official time but want to participant in the 3.1-mile distance.

REGISTER ONLINE AND CHOOSE YOUR SCHOOL THAT YOUR CHILD ATTENDS IN ALLEN ISD OR LOVEJOY ISD AND YOUR SCHOOL WILL RECEIVE ($5) TOWARDS YOUR SCHOOLS PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM.
WEATHER POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans.
Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.
Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.

FREE PARKING: Available on a first come basis throughout Downtown Allen. Some roads and parking lots will be closed beginning at 2:00 PM on race day (Saturday 12/02/2023)

AWARDS
You or a designated person of your choosing must be present at the awards ceremony to receive your award. We will not mail or arrange post-race pick up.
There will be individual awards for the following categories in 5K timed distance:
Overall male, Overall female, Overall Master's Female and Male, and Overall Grand Master's Female and Male
The 5K timed age group awards will be three deep male and female:
7 & Under, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Masters:
Male – 40-59
Female – 40-54
Grand Masters:
Male – 60 and over
Female – 55 and over
Overall Finisher Awards and Age Group Awards chip time Awards
