Kick COVID to the Curb, CAA Virtual 5K

This year, the Conroe Adventist Academy had teamed up with the Houston Bay Area Pathfinder Clubs and the TLT's to organize our first 5K.  Our goal was to raise money for scholarships.  Conroe Adventist Academy wanted to raised funds for grades K-12, and the TLT's wanted to raise funds for graduating seniors that would attend Southwestern Adventist University.  Our Global Youth Panther Color Run was scheduled for March 22, 2020, at Mason Park in Houston, Texas.  The shirts, medals, bags, and all the colored powder was purchased and ready for our race.  However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our event had to be canceled. 

Instead of counting all of our efforts a loss, we want to give our children and youth an example of grit, perseverance, and determination.   We want them to see that even though challenging situations that are rooted in factors we cannot control arise in life, we must not give up.  We will wear a mask.  We will wash our hands.  We will social distance but we will not stop living!  We will not stop fighting!  By the grace of God, we will Kick COVID to the Curb!
