Description
Primos Dallas is hosting our 2nd Annual Run the Grove 5K on Saturday, April 6, 2024! Our mentoring program serves families in the southeast Dallas area of Pleasant Grove and we are excited to bring a certified 5K race with official timing to the neighborhood. We will also have a Fun Run course, and family friendly activities, including free food, music, and games.
Join us to raise scholarship funds for high school and college students. Since 2018, Primos has awarded $65,000 in scholarships. Our goal this year is to award scholarships to students participating in our mentoring program. We aim to alleviate the burden of post high school educational costs for first generation students.
ALL 5K Participants will receive:
- a Run the Grove t-shirt (must register by April 1st to receive)
- a completion medal
- a free meal after the race (elote and Mexican paleta)
- unlimited water
- snacks
- immediate race results
- Prizes will be awarded to 1st place in every age/sex category
ALL 3K Participants will receive:
- a Run the Grove t-shirt

* 1st place for every age/sex category. Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards.
Parking
Parking will be located at the Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church

- Parking attendants will direct participants.
- A shuttle will take participants back and forth between the parking lot and the race trail.
- NO PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE TRAIL.
