Description
United Way of Metropolitan Dallas will host Live! In the Park 5K and Health Festival presented by Texas Instruments and TXU Energy, the perfect day in the park for the whole family! The Festival will kick-off with a 5K run/walk that will take participants from the Oak Cliff neighborhood, across the Trinity River and into downtown Dallas. The 5K will end at Lake Cliff Park where the Health Festival will come alive with healthy – and free – activities and entertainment for kids of every age. Festival vendors will feature fun, easy ways for families to live healthy and stay fit. Volunteers from United Way, Texas Instruments, Vistra Energy and several other corporations and non-profit providers will distribute health-focused literature, offer health-related services and lead activities throughout the morning.
