This is a timed Club ride for training purposes only. There is no registration fee and there will NOT be any awards. Riders are expected to follow appropriate safety and social distancing protocols for everyone's safety. There will NOT be any restrooms on site nor will there be any on course support provided by Club Spinistry. Riders must carry all that they need to complete the course or arrange for their own support at the designated spots.
North Texas social distancing appropriate gravel greatness for everyone! Routes of 32, 65 and 100+ miles. Individual Time Trial format with spacing of at least one minute between riders. No drafting allowed. Riders must be on site 15 minutes prior to their group start time and must leave in that specified time window. No changes or substitutions for start chute time range. This will be a no touch at check in event. Virtual riders' meeting will be made available Friday evening to all participants.
100 Mile route is considered self navigated and self supported.
100K route will be marked but we still recommend GPS backup for navigation purposes.
50K route will be marked, GPS backup navigation suggested.
These routes are not appropriate for traditional "road bikes". Gravel/Adventure bikes, cyclocross and hardtail mountain bikes are ideal. Hybrids without fenders will work for the shorter routes as well. Helmets are required and rear lights are highly recommended for safety purposes. There are short stretches on high speed Farm to Market roads but the vast majority of the routes are on nearly deserted county roads.
The course is marked but this should still be considered a self supported event without SAG vehicles. GPS backup is highly suggested. Riders can receive support at specified points along the route but will be disqualified if they receive on course support beyond other riders outside of those points.
For safety and insurance purposes all riders must wear a helmet and operate their bicycles under their own power. No motorized assistance is allowed.
