Description

Hey everyone! Please join the surrounding F3 regions of the Greater DFW area in Texas for our first-ever week-long virtual activity challenge! We're aiming to log a whopping 10,000 miles together as a group...  It's all for a great cause—raising awareness about the serious issue of human trafficking right here in North Texas.

Throughout the week of October 6-12, all participants will track their own miles wherever you want to log them. Whether you're walking, running, cycling, or doing your favorite activity, every mile counts towards our goal!

Not only are we spreading awareness, but we're also fundraising for Bob's House of Hope, a nonprofit in North Texas that supports male survivors of human trafficking. The money raised will directly help in their recovery and restoration. Let's make a difference together!

About Bob's House of Hope - https://ranchhandsrescue.org/bobs-house-of-hope/

Bob’s House of Hope is the first safe house in the country for male survivors, 18 and up, of commercial sexual exploitation, also known as human trafficking or sex trafficking. We are the only residential facility to include Ranch Hands Rescue’s innovative Equine and Animal Assisted Counseling intervention.

Founded in 2021, Bob’s House of Hope, a program of Ranch Hands Rescue, operates as a comprehensive residential program and safe house for young adult male-identifying survivors of sex trafficking. Ranch Hands Rescue also prevents sex trafficking of males by providing trauma resolution to boys who have been sexually abused.

About F3 Nation - https://f3nation.com/

F3 is a national network of free, peer-led workouts for men. Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership. Started in 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina, F3 is now in 48 states, on 5 continents, with more than 4,205 scheduled workouts a week through the volunteer efforts of men whose lives have been changed by their involvement with the group.

The three Fs in our name stand for Fitness, Fellowship and Faith — the last of which we define as not one specific religion or faith system, but simply a belief in something outside oneself.

Our workouts …
Are free of charge
Are open to all men
Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary
End with a Circle of Trust
We welcome men of all fitness levels to our workouts and have no requirement for membership other than that you show up at the appointed time and place and follow what the workout leader (the “Q” in F3 lingo) does.

The F3 Credo is: Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you find him.

Where: The Crossing at Grant's Trail
Required Gear: Ruck/Weighted Vest (prescribed weight 30lbs), 6 liters of water, at least 2 of which must be electrolytes, headlamp, reflective straps
Optional Gear: Food, sunscreen, bug spray, cash, and first aid kit (I will be bringing one)
Why: This is the last day for Covering House Challenge and were looking at getting at least 15 miles in. It'll mostly be paved roads but will be fairly challenging. This ruck will be broken up into two parts. We will ruck out about 3-4 miles and back to start. And then take about 15 minutes break to pick up any other PAX that might want to join for second half and ruck about 3-4 miles the other way and back. This will take at least 5-7 hours in total. Please make sure to hydrate the week before and bring proper nutrition if you need it.
