Description
The PTA at Shady Shores invites you to join us for our fourth annual Falcon Fun Run. The time for each grade level is listed above. Each group will run as many laps as they can in a 20 minute period. Please donate and encourage your runner! We are raising school spirit and funds to support our amazing students, teachers, and staff.
Are You Ready for Fun Run 2021?
We are SO excited for Fun Run 2021!
Students will be running on Friday, April 30th.
Don't forget to purchase and decorate your sponsor sign!! Let's cheer the students on by lining the track with your personal messages!
Prizes
As students raise money for SSE they will receive prizes! For every $10 your student raises, they will receive a raffle ticket that can be placed in a drawing for one of the prizes being given away this year. Raffle prizes range from summer activities, gift cards, karaoke microphones, ear buds, Razor scooter, and even a signed Texas Rangers Jose Trevino pennant! With all the great raffle prizes this year every student is sure to find something to get them excited!
What is the money going to be used for?
The PTA currently has two primary initiatives:
1. Teacher Grants
2. Playground Equipment
What was last years money used for?
1. Teacher Grants
2. 26 Lap Tops and 2 “Joey Carts” for storing and charging. Did you know that, that purchase brought our school to a 1 to 1 ration? Every student has a laptop!
Sponsor Sign
Sponsor signs will be available for purchase at the Drive-Thru event at the front of Shady Shores Elementary; Tuesday, April 27th & Wednesday, April 28th from 5pm-7pm. You can decorate your sign on the spot or take it home and return it to school decorated the following day. Sponsor signs are a great way to show your support the day of the run and will be a memento for your child to take home!
Signs will be placed in the lawn around the track so the students of SSE know that although we may not be there, we are all cheering them on!!!
