Boomer's Bustle 5K Fun Run

In conjunction with the local city event, Eagle Lake Wild, the Attwater Prairie Chicken NWR is hosting a casual 5K fun run! Enjoy the wild prairie and fresh air as you test your endurance in Boomer’s Bustle 5K Fun Run.

Because space is limited, you must register ahead of time. Please visit www.visiteaglelake.com and click on “EAGLE LAKE WILD” to register online and learn more about other activities happening in town during their event. Entry Fee: $18 registration due by September 9th. Registration fees pay for T-shirts and other amenities. Proceeds from registration go to the Friends of Attwater Prairie Chicken Refuge. T-shirts will be limited, so please try to register by August 30th to guarantee yourself a shirt!
Time: 7:45 - 8:45 am. – T-shirt pick-up and check-in.  9:00 am. – Run begins. Runners first, then Walkers
Course Description: Relatively flat, gravel road on the Auto Tour route. Full length of path is 5.8 kilometers.
Parking: Parking is limited. Do not park along the road.
