Run For It run club presents 'Run For It: 5k in the Canyon'  We welcome all runners to our first full 5k since 2019. As we've grown massively this past year, we wanted to bring everyone a proper 5k inside of one El Paso's most beautiful and historic areas - McKelligon Canyon. In collaboration with Visit El Paso, El Paso Live, Destination El Paso, and Up & Running, we will be hosting a challenging yet rewarding 5k race in the canyon paired with a 1 mile fun run & walk starting at 8am. Race will be timed for each participant with medals for winners in designated divisions. Local vendors, creatives, friends & fitness groups will be on site as along with food and drinks to refresh post race. 20+ Local vendors of all kinds will be showcasing the best of El Paso while several of the area's best DJ's will be providing live music to bring the beat to the canyon ! We welcome all - experienced runners for the 5k, as well as participants in the 1 mile fun run/walk! Don't forget, a portion of every race entry will be directly donated to local nonprofits and friends Rescue Runners 915 and Plant A Seed.
