Ride the NETT 2017

It is time to Ride the Nett again! This time we finally get to raise money specifically for our bridge project! More details soon but a significant portion of all proceeds will be going to the Bridge #31 decking project.

Thanks to the support of Bearded Women Racing we will also offer an overnight bikepacking option starting Saturday morning. Details and routes will be coming soon so stay tuned.

Ride the NETT will be a Sunday only event, the bikepacking option will leave Farmersville Saturday morning and return Sunday afternoon.

Scouted the dirt roads and trail sections accessible from the roads today and everything was in great shape (check photos in link). This is the prettiest I've ever seen things out there. This really will be a good ride.

We are going to try something different this time to make sure EVERYONE who registers gets a shirt in their size. We will wait to order them until next week and then mail them to everyone.

Most of the details have been worked out for the bikepacking overnight. The Bearded Women support stop will be in Ladonia (about 40 miles in, pics in album). They will provide food, drink, wrench and sag support and make overnight arrangements with the town. Riders who want more mileage on Saturday can ping us for extra mileage suggestions from Ladonia. Please chime in if you are thinking about bikepacking. They need to know how much food/water/etc to care for.

We will have our Pie Stop back in Farmersville at the end of the ride. This way everyone gets pie no matter what distance your ride!

Please keep in mind that proceeds from every entry will go towards the bridge decking project. Every entry/donation is appreciated! Please try to register as early as possible. We will have to order portajohns and pies by Thursday at the latest.
