We are excited to announce that the charity partner for this event is Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties!
Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties (OWBC) was established in 1965 as the area’s official Community Action Agency. We are a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation governed by elected officials, community leaders and target area representatives. Throughout our history, we have administered a wide range of social service and economic opportunity programs.
OWBC serves thousands of individuals and families annually in Williamson and Burnet Counties, providing critical services to community members in need. Our programs meet the needs of community members through all stages of life, ranging from children to senior citizens. In collaboration with other nonprofits and organizations, OWBC is able to blanket the community with the resources they need.
Our agency provides two income-based programs. These include Head Start and Community Services. In addition, we offer a Meals on Wheels program for seniors in need. Although many of our seniors are low-income, this is not a program requirement.

Can I Participate Virtually?
Absolutely! We have been getting many inquiries about virtual participation and have integrated a virtual option into our regular registration.
Please feel free to register through the regular registration link above and you can either:
1) Pick up packet during packet pickup or on the morning of the race, but run on your own (hint: wine ticket is still good if you use this strategy)
2) Contact us at any time to switch to the Wine Run Virtual Turkey Trot Races and we'll ship your packet (There will be a $10.00 shipping and handling charge per person)
Also, if you intend on running, but later change your mind and would like to do either of these options, that's ok too! If you are definitely going to have us ship your packet and run virtually though, we do recommend you follow the instructions below:
1). Go to runsignup.com/profile and log into your account.
2). Click on "Manage Registration" next to this race.
3). On the next page click on transfer to another race and choose the Wine Run Virtual Turkey Trot Races.
