Description
Every day across the country, lives are saved and families are restored through the miracle of donation and transplantation. Even so, more than 10,000 Texan men, women and children wait for their second chance at life.
Who Will You Run For?
Donate Life Texas and LifeGift invites you to spend a morning celebrating the gift of life. The Donate Life Texas 2nd Chance Run hosted by LifeGift honors organ, eye and tissue donors in 109 Texas counties in North, Southeast and West Texas. While celebrating the lives saved and offering hope to those still waiting, the event raises awareness of the need for organ, eye and tissue donation across the state.

The Remembrances can be personalized with your loved one’s name, a photo, and a few words of tribute. We invite you to click the link below to complete the submission form to take part in this tribute to lifesaving donors. Along with displaying the remembrances on our social media sites and this website, LifeGift will email you the remembrance artwork. Please contact us if you have questions about this.

Teams
We encourage participants to create or join a team!
Teams are a great way to honor those who gave, pay tribute to those who received, offer hope to those who continue to wait and remember the lives lost while waiting for the Gift of Life. The largest Family and Hospital teams will be recognized and receive trophies!
TEAM DISCOUNT: Teams who have 5 or more members will receive a $2.00 refund per member, youth members are not included in discount.
