Description
Experience our VERY FIRST race being hosted at Dinosaur Valley State Park. Have fun in the morning sun on some "behind the scenes" trails that are open to the public just for this special event. The inaugural Dino Stomp Out Kids Cancer is a family fun run/walk fundraiser benefit for children fighting cancer hosted by Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation. Try the 1-mile fun run/walk/hike or venture farther in HOPE on the 5K course stomping alongside real DINO TRACKS on the shores of the Paluxy River. Come enjoy a day of family fun! All ages and fitness levels welcome.

Walk-Up Registration: 6:30-7:30am

1 Mile Fun Run START @ 5 minutes after the last 5K runner starts

**VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT GO TO THE MAIN PARK ENTRANCE**
The event start/finish line is NOT on the public part of the park, but instead, it is at the Dino Valley SP Special Event Field and while you are encouraged to stay and visit the main park proper after the race, you do NOT need to obtain a park pass in order to come to the event.
NOTE: There are TWO ways to get to the event field from the city of Glen Rose... one way has a low river crossing on the Paluxy River that may have water flowing over it, BUT the other driving route to the event field does not have this issue.
It is BEST to take the slightly shorter route out of Glen Rose, which is the N FM 56 route headed NW of town. When you get to the Post Oak Cemetery, take a LEFT on County Road 1007 until you reach the sign that says CR 1007B (to the Left at the Y), where you take a short drive until you reach the Dinosaur Valley State Park EVENT FIELD GATE that will be on the LEFT.
