Inaugural Houston Family Ride & Run to benefit Homes For Our Troops

We are hosting our FIRST ever Motorcylcle Ride Run and Family Fun Run 1K/5K to benefit Homes for Our Troops. The mission of Homes for Our Troops is to build mortgage-free homes specially adapted for severely injured veterans post 9/11 to enable them to rebuild their lives.

The Starrett and Davis families proudly partner with Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) to host these two amazing events. We are so excited to be apart of such an amazing non-profit organization and give back to those that lives have dramatically changed protecting our freedom. Cory Starrett and Clayton Davis are both Navy Veterans and Christina Davis is a Marine Veteran so this cause is very near and dear to both our families. 

YOUR SUPPORT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!!!! 

For the Motorcycle Ride Run the best hand will receive $100 CASH, second will receive $50 San Jacinto Harley-Davidson Gift Card and third will receive $25 San Jacinto Harley-Davidson gift card. We will have other prize give away's as well as our raffle and silent auction to participate in. We will have music and food. So come out September 30th to San Jacinto Harley-Davidson in Pasadena TX and enjoy the day wither you ride or not. 

Our 1K/5K race we will be giving finisher medals to all the 1K participants 10 and under. For our 5K runners we will be giving awards for both male and female in several different categories such as age and overall best times. We will have some great vendors so come out and enjoy our Family Fun Run October 14, 2017 at Clear Brook City Park wither you run, walk, jog or are just there for the great vendors. All paid runners will receive a FREE T-Shirt with registration but you are only guaranteed your size if done on or before September 24, 2017.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a VIRTUAL runner option for the 1K/5K, so you DO NOT have to be local to enjoy this amazing race. Just send us a picture of your treadmill screen or gps track showing your distance. 

ABOUT HOMES FOR OUR TROOPS: Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post - 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of thes Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence of our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.
