On Sunday, Oct. 18, join RenewHouston for our first-ever virtual walk. The walk is free, and you can participate from wherever is most convenient for you — be it a neighborhood park or your favorite trail or woods.
How Does a Virtual Walk Work?
On Oct. 18, at the time and place of your choosing, grab a friend and walk 5 kilometers — or 3.1 miles
How Will We Know You Walked?
We won’t—but we trust you! Virtual walks are done on your honor; we won’t be checking how many steps you take but we’ll be following along with your social media post and cheering you on! Share your walk on Instagram with the hashtag #RenewWalk for the chance to be featured on our site.

Starting September 10, RenewHouston.com will be sharing our picks for the best walking trails in Houston, along with walking tips and motivational stories to get you ready for the 5K on October 18th.
