Super Hero Sprint 5K & Fun Run

Dress up as your favorite super hero on June 12th  as Reel East Texas  and The E Teacher App host Kilgore’s Super Hero Sprint, fun run event & 5k.  What's better than running for fun with your friends? Running for fun with your friends AND helping your community while doing it! 

Between running through a crowd of your favorite super heroes and plenty of photo opps with friends, it's nearly impossible to be in a bad mood at this event. Participants should dress in comfortable running attire or their favorite superhero costume for this fun run event.  

Kilgore’s Super Hero Sprint is the perfect place to practice your selfie skills while documenting the day. Don't forget to bring your camera (or smartphone) to snap pics of you and your friends racing while dressed as your favorite superheroes. Before and after shots can accurately depict your journey amongst heroes. After all, if it’s not on Instagram, did it really even happen? 

Kilgore’s Superhero Sprint - Is an untimed event. The Texan theater will host a jumbo screen Mario Kart tournament after the event. Runners vary in demographics and reasons for running. With no winners or official times, Kilgore’s Super Hero Sprint caters to everyone—first time runners to seasoned athletes. (Registration for Mario Kart Tournament is separate than race registration. Spaces and slots are limited. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis)
