2021 Lockhart Scenic Rides

Staging from the BBQ capital of the world. Get your adventure on and then finish the day with a plate of fantastic grub. It just doesn't get any better than that! We are providing you with a vetted and scenic route for you to navigate and enjoy on your own schedule. All fees waived for Club Spinistry members.

Route options of 30, 47, 68 and 102 mile. All routes go by convenience stores which are notated on the maps. Each route is primarily composed of dirt/gravel roads. Some areas will be prone to flooding during or immediately after heavy rains. These routes were last verified May, 2021 but weather events and road maintenance could require detours at any time. Please be prepared to reroute on your own if necessary.

This is considered a training route for cyclists, overlanders and duel sport adventure riders. Signup includes FREE access to the Ride With GPS navigation app which will give turn by turn audio prompts for navigation in addition to the map display. All routes can also be downloaded for use by other navigation devices. All participants are expected to follow the Texas Traffic Code at all times. None of these routes utilize private property. We are not responsible for any map plotting errors or user misunderstanding of the routes. Do your own due diligence to verify ahead of time any change in status for access.

Special note for the 102 mile route. Bicycle will be able to follow the full route as mapped. Motorized users will need to stay on the main highway (183) from mile 64 to mile 67.
