Description
Summer 2024 Rec Camp!
This is for the rec summer camp held at the Lubbock Christian University Rec Center. Campers should be between the ages of 4-12. Camp days are 3 weeks in July, from 8am -12pm. Each camp session is limited to 30 campers. All campers must be picked up by 12:10, after this time, you will incur a $1/min late fee. Three sessions are available in total for Summer 2024.
Rec Camp offers a variety of games and activities for those going into kindergarten - going into sixth grade. Some of these activities include, scavenger hunt, basketball, dodgeball, kids fitness, arts/craft activity, volleyball, soccer, capture the flag, and limited water activities on the last day of camp.
Camp is broken into 30 minute activity blocks with restroom breaks, a snack break and an all camp activity per day. Campers who wish to attend camp should be able to dress/change themselves (water day), be able to use the bathroom alone, and be able to communicate needs with counselors. Campers will be broken into like age groups for peer activities.

***Each session MUST have a minimum of 10 campers to make (again, max amount of campers/session is 30). If a session is cancelled, we will offer to move the camper to another session. Invite your friends to ensure that your session makes!

Allergies/Chronic Illnesses
Please let our camp director know if your child has any known food, plant or medication allergies, as well as any chronic illnesses (diabetic, athsma, etc). This will help us prepare for camp snacks and/or in the event of a medical emergency.

The LCU Rec Center is located off of Eileen Blvd.
This is the large white "airplane" hanger building at the south end of the LCU Campus.
This building is between the LCU baseball and softball field.
