Description

GraceToChange is a nonprofit outpatient substance abuse treatment center located in Collin County, Texas. Substance abuse is a growing epidemic with an increasing impact in Collin County. GTC is the ONLY adolescent provider and is 1 of only 3 adult providers that accepts county Behavioral Health/Medicaid funds within this county of one million residents. Our mission is to break the cycle of addiction for adolescents and adults by providing the tools, support, and hope for a lifetime of recovery. Everyone who walks through the door of GraceToChange has a seat on the couch where experiences are shared, welcomes are given, and grace is personified. In honor of our couch and its special place in our mission, please "take a seat" and join us for our 1st Annual Couch Potato 5K!

This event is open to all runners and fitness walkers. Due to COVID concerns, The 1st Annual Couch Potato Run will be virtual. What’s a virtual run? It’s a race you can run at any point, at your pace, outside, on a treadmill, alone, or with friends and family. Participation is welcome at any time with your registration, but we invite you to run the day of our race on May 22, 2021. You will still receive all of the perks of an in-person race such as a t-shirts and finishers medals. Packets can be picked up at the GraceToChange office during race week.

Proceeds from the run will go directly to GraceToChange to support our continued efforts to break the cycle of addiction for children and adults. Register for the 1st Annual Couch Potato Fun or donate directly at www.Gracetochange.com.
