Virtual 5K Benefitting Marathon Kids

Event Details

From June 3-5, 2022 individuals from around the state will RUN TEXAS and support Marathon Kids' mission every step of the way.

Participants will have three days to complete the challenge. You can complete the 5K on any course you choose! So lace up for Marathon Kids and start running in your neighborhood, at the gym, your favorite park, anywhere! Or, check out Keeptexansactive.org for a route in your area. You can even complete the distance all at once, or break it up.

 
All participants will receive:

• Race Bib

• One Raffle Entry

Ultimate 5K Registration will include an Official Event shirt. 

Every additional $25 donated earns you one extra raffle entry. Just head to the "donate" button!

Completion Timeline:  June 3 - 5, 2022

Between June 3-5, 2022 run a 5K in your area and submit your results to the "Results" tab. We will announce the results and raffle winner on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 10 AM.

About Marathon Kids

Marathon Kids is an Austin-based nonprofit organization on a mission to get kids moving. We provide free tools and programming to our coaches. The purpose of our goal-driven program is to increase daily physical activity by challenging kids to run, jog, walk or move the equivalent of four (or more!) marathons over the course of a season.  Not only are we teaching goal-setting, but Marathon Kids is an opportunity for all kids - at any fitness level - to learn how being active every day improves their entire well-being.

We keep our programming free because of generous funders and supporters, like you!  All contributions deliver Marathon Kids’ evidence-based program and award-winning technology to schools and communities that need us most. We provide the tools and training, while coaches bring the fun, energy, and encouragement to help kids go further than they ever thought possible.
