Dedicated to those who have earned their wings, have, and continue to fight cancer especially Adrenal Cortical Cancer. You can run, walk or just support our cause.
Additional fundraising booths after the race to include food, raffle, etc. (please bring cash, no credit cards accepted on race day). This is a family event.
Race start time: 9am, Race Check-in options: 1) Day before race @ packet pickup 2) Day of race 8-8:45am
Proceeds will go toward Adrenal Cortical Cancer (ACC) through The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center by Dr. Mohammed Habra.

The Outrun Rare Cancer 5K is proud to host our very first 5K to support rare cancer awareness. This is your opportunity to help support our 5K and help raise money to support Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma research.
100% proceeds benefit Adrenal Cortical Cancer Research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center by Mohammed Habra,MD. Please make checks payable to: The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Indicate "Out Run" on Memo line so proceeds are directed to our cause.
The Outrun Rare Cancer 5K fundraising team is offering you an excellent advertising opportunity that will reach hundreds of people throughout the years. We are offering four sponsorship levels.
• $100 donation includes the sponsor’s name on a large banner displayed at the 5K event and sponsor’s name on sponsor list page included within each race packet.
• $250 donation includes the sponsor’s name/logo on a large banner displayed at the 5K event, sponsor’s name/logo on the race t-shirt, and sponsor’s name on sponsor list page included within each race packet.
• $500 donation includes the sponsor’s name/logo on a large banner displayed at the 5K event, sponsor’s name/logo on the race t-shirt, and sponsor’s name on sponsor list page included within each race packet.
• $1,000+ donation includes the sponsor’s name/logo on a large banner displayed at the 5K event, sponsor’s name/logo on the race t-shirt, and sponsor’s name on sponsor list page included within each race packet.
Additionally, your sponsorship will include:
- A free very attractive race t-shirt and entry into the Outrun Rare Cancer 5K
- Name/logo will be displayed in order and size based off of sponsorship level of donation
- Tax deduction donation
The Outrun Rare Cancer 5K team welcomes your participation in the 5K. To be a sponsor, all that is necessary is to submit a sponsor form that includes your desired name or logo in black and white as you would like it to appear on the banner/shirt, and your check made out to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center with “outrun” in the check memo line.
