The annual 100 Years and Running 5K Run/Walk benefits the League of Women Voters of the San Antonio Area. The League, a nonpartisan organization, encourages informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
The 100 years of Running 5K Run/Walk will include In-person and Virtual races. Come join us for this fun, family friendly event along the Salado Creek Greenway to support our ongoing voter education and community outreach efforts.

The In-person event will begin and end at Wheatley Heights Sports Complex, and the course will run along the Salado Creek Greenway Trail (course map below). Strollers are permitted. No dogs are allowed at the event, except service dogs, due to the two-way traffic of runners and walkers on the course. The event will include:

Packets will be shipped to Virtual race participants.
We intend to hold an In-person event. If for any reason we are not allowed to have a live race, we will switch everyone to a Virtual event. There will be no refunds.
