Sights and Sounds of Christmas 5K & 1K Jingle Bell Run

Description:

The Sights & Sounds of Christmas 5K and 1k Jingle Bell Run will be held Saturday December 6th, 2014 at 9:00 am. Our certified course (TX122002TM) will showcase the beautiful downtown and historic district of San Marcos. The course is mostly flat with some gentle slopes and one small grade hill. The race will begin and finish at the San Marcos Plaza Park. Chip timing will be used. Every 5K and 1K entrant will receive a high quality shirt (If registered by Dec. 2nd). Race packets can be picked up at Sights and Sounds or at Core Running (111 Hopkins St, San Marcos) from 11 am – 5:30 pm on December 5th. We will provide runners with a few Jingle Bells. If desired, runners are encouraged to bring extra bells to bring the Christmas Spirit alive. The runner wearing the most bells will be recognized and presented with a gift! The 5K awards ceremony will follow the completion of the race with a unique Santa trophy to top finishers in each five-year age group for male and female. Door prizes will be given out during the ceremony for the runners! Each 1K entry will receive a medal for completion of the course as well!

Pre-Reg: $30 Dec. 1st - 5th

Kids Race Day $15

Registrants after Dec. 2nd are not guaranteed a t-shirt-size
Toy Drive: Please bring an unwrapped gift (no plush toys) to the race for a blue Santa hat that you can wear during the race.
