5K Fun Walk/Run Against Obesity
New Date for Our 5K!
New Date: 03-07-2026
Dear 5K participants and potential family,
We want to sincerely apologize for the postponement of Midas Football Academy’s 2nd Annual 5K Against Childhood Obesity. Your support means so much to us, and we’re committed to making this event the best experience possible for everyone involved.
That’s why we’re thrilled to share some great news:
- We’ve selected an even better time of the season for all to join – Saturday, March 7, 2026
- We’ve secured an even bigger venue – the beautiful Memorial Park in Sugar Land, Texas
This change gives us the chance to welcome more participants, more families, and more community partners, making our mission to fight childhood obesity even stronger.
Why you’ll want to be there:
- Enjoy perfect spring weather for running, walking, or cheering on loved ones.
- Experience the excitement of a larger venue designed for both fitness and fun.
- Be part of a powerful movement raising awareness and support for children’s health.
- We encourage you to hold on to your registration (or sign up now if you haven’t already!) and get ready for an unforgettable event. With more time to prepare and spread the word, March 7th will be a celebration of health, community, and hope.
So mark your calendars!!! March 7, 2026
Thank you for your patience, your passion, and your commitment to this cause. Together, we’re not just running a race — we’re running toward a healthier future for our children!
Register today and invite a friend to join you!
With excitement and gratitude,
Midas Football Academy Team
