Strong Like James 5K

Join us for a 5K run/walk, rallying behind the incredible journey of James! On June 8, 2023, James fell three stories, which resulted in a shattered skull and a traumatic brain injury, coupled with other significant wounds. In the face of adversity, James has left his family, friends, and medical team in awe. James has defied all odds, surviving the challenges of a traumatic brain injury, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and severe septic shock thanks to timely intervention and the amazing medical teams at the Craig H. Neilson Rehabilitation Hospital and the Thoracic, Shock and Trauma, and Neuro ICU's at IMC.

Throughout the subsequent months, James has embarked on a remarkable path of recovery, pushing his boundaries and redefining his capabilities. His resilience, coupled with a zest for life, has propelled him forward, surpassing milestones that have astonished those around him. With a determination that knows no bounds, James is not only recuperating rapidly but also embracing each moment with unmatched enthusiasm.

Among his many passions, James has a fondness for barefoot running, which encapsulates his spirit of liberation and vitality.
