New Date: June 13th, 2020 (tentatively)
Emotions stem from two places: Fear and Love. While we do not subscribe to living a fear-based life, we do base our decisions from a place of love. This love wants to see everyone be happy and healthy.
It is for that reason we have chosen to postpone this year's event. Awesome Autistic Ogden is nothing if not an event born from the utmost place of love. Love for ASD people, love for our vendors and volunteers, and love for the community that embraces and supports this event and neurodiverse people.
We are currently working with the city to reschedule for another weekend, hopefully June 13th, and will update everyone as soon as we can. This decision is a sad one for us as we genuinely love the opportunity to celebrate our neurodiverse loved ones. We appreciate everyone's support and look forward to celebrating a little later in the year.

As part of the Awesome Autistic Ogden festivities, we are kicking off the day with a 5K and KidsK fun run on the beautiful Ogden River Parkway. The race will start at the Ogden MTC/Botanical Garden, 1750 Monroe Blvd. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. Run starts at 10 a.m. The race includes an awesome finisher's medal, refreshments, and two raffle tickets. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase the day of the event for $2/each or six for $10. All proceeds will benefit two local 501(c)(3) nonprofits: Bernal Badassery Foundation, whose mission is to help families and individuals, both off and on the autism spectrum, who are trying to improve their lives; and Have a Heart, whose mission is to assist families with special needs in realizing the dream of home-ownership, to promote affordable housing, and to provide individuals and businesses the opportunity to give back to their community.
After the run, we invite you to stop by the AAO Open House at the Ogden School District Shiny Gym at 1950 Monroe Blvd (just up the street from the park) from 11-2. There will be lots of vendors, sensory friendly activities, a photo booth, food and fun! Admission is FREE!
