Friday the 13K - St. George

Five Star NTP is seeking a Charity Partner to join forces for this exciting event. This collaboration offers a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness about your organization's mission while generating much-needed funds to support your cause.

As our official Charity Partner, your organization (or an individual in need) will be in the spotlight. We’ll feature you on our website, registration page, and social media — donations collected through the race go straight to you. No fees. No cuts.
Your only obligation will be to provide 4-6 volunteers on race day and help promote the event within your circle of influence.

Volunteering for this race can earn you a $50 Visa Gift Card.

Here's how it works: 1) You sign up to volunteer on Volunteer page. 2) You recruit 3 (three) others - 15 years or older - to volunteer for this race and have them sign up on the Volunteer page and put Your Name when it asks who recruited them. 3) You and your recruits show up on race day and volunteer for the entire race. 4) After the race, if all qualifications are met, Five Star NTP will mail you your $50 Visa Gift card.

Get excited, grab some friends & pups to join you!  Sign up and register for the Dashing in the Dark Virtual 5K!

Step 2

Download your Custom Digital Bib!  Hydrate, grab your buddy & pup (or not) and get ready to get moving!

Step 3

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want.   Please remember to be safe!

Step 4

HAVE FUN!~

Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the hashtag #DashingInTheDark5K #fivestarntp #fivestarrunning

Step 5

Submit your results directly on RunSignUp.com through your Profile or registration.

You can submit your race time HERE on the Virtual Results page through end of day 3/2/24.

Step 6

View your Virtual Results HERE Monday after the Event Date.

We will be unable to mail glow packets to participants.  

It's FLAT!  We'll be chip timing everyone at the start & finish.

The 13K course is a double loop out-and-back.

The 6.5K course is a single out-and-back 

Use of a headlamp/light is recommended

Water Stations

We will have water stations approximately every 1.5 miles

Pacing

Participants will need to finish with at least a 16 min/mile pace.

We've got some awesome race shirts lined up and guaranteed for everyone that registers by 03/03.  We'll be ordering extras, but they'll be available while supplies last.

• Top 3 Masters M/F (40+)
• Top 3 Overall Grand Master M/F (50+)
• Top 3 Overall Senior Master M/F (60+)
• Top 3 M/F in each of the normal 5 year age groups; 10 & Under through 75+ will earn awards. 

Running is more F-U-N together, even if we're far apart! 

Grab your friends, co-workers, neighbors, or family and participate as a TEAM.  Your TEAM can be local or across the states; virtual participants will have their shirts shipped!  *Teams of 5 or more receive discounts off their registration, discounts below. 

• 5+:    $2.50 off
• 11+:  $3.75 off
• 21+:  $5 off
• 51+:  $6.25 off
• 100+:  $7.50 off

Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be immediately disqualified, asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.

Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants; there are no refunds in this case.

Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.

No COVID-19 Refunds.  If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided.  The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.

We always do packet pickup on race day starting one hour prior to the start of the race.  If we have an early pickup available, it will be added here.
