Champion for the Chesapeake Virtual Race Charity Bib

Race To Create America's Next National Park

Run, hike or paddle this virtual race and help secure “forever protection” for our nation’s largest estuary as the next unit in the National Park System!

Introducing the "Champion for the Chesapeake" Virtual Race Fundraiser Page.

It's time to create the Chesapeake National Recreation Area as the newest unit in the National Park Service.

Wander Project has teamed up with Chesapeake Conservancy to help speed up the process of creating the next National Park – The Chesapeake National Recreation Area, and you can help us raise even more to support these efforts when you sign up for a 'charity bib' for this event.

How it works: Raise money to support Chesapeake Conservancy, and we'll waive your race entry fee.

The “official” race day is November 14, 2020, but because this is a virtual race, you can run whenever and wherever you want. You’ll have until race day (11/14/2020) to register and raise money. Once you have hit your fundraising minimum, we will register you for the race and order your shirt and race bib!

What is a 'Charity Bib'?

When you sign up for a Charity Bib and commit to be a "Champion for the Chesapeake", it means you're going to lead your own personal fundraiser and raise at least $250. Once you meet that fundraising minimum, your entry to the Champion for the Chesapeake Virtual Race is FREE!

Don't wait. Sign up and start fundraising now! (Don't worry, we'll help you through the process.)

Collaboration between Virtual Running Club, Chesapeake Conservancy and Wander Project.
