Halloween WILL be in the air, and we will be celebrating the 15th running of the Ghost 5k running events!
We invite you to join in the fun of Halloween with our 5k and Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run,
Join us Saturday, Oct. 26 at 4 PM from Dynasty Brewing Company, Ashburn VA (21140 Ashburn Crossing Dr. Ashburn, VA) for course Halloween spookiness, costume contest, and more! Our Kids' Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run will start at 3 PM before the 5k race.
This experience will center on the “spooktacular” theme of Halloween and incorporate a costume contest, long sleeve tech shirts, and glow in the dark medal and a special 15th anniversary swag item presented at the finish line!
Runners are encouraged to run in costume and be a part of our costume contest!
All participants will receive Halloween candy, commemorative long sleeve tech t-shirt, a glow in the dark finishers' medal and a special 15th anniversary swag item presented at the finish line!
Volunteer on Race Day
Volunteers are needed to help us out in the following areas. You will be assigned to what interest you the most, however we do ask for some flexibility!
- Hand out runner bibs to participating runners before the race
- Hand out swag/snack bags to runners.
- Direct runners through certain areas of the course.
- Monitor the start/finish line area

Drawing runners from our community and the surrounding area, we will encourage runners to kick the holiday season off with movement! That's right! the Holidays start with Halloween, and we want our community to keep moving with an effort to stay Fit Through the Holidays!
