TriAdventure Kids Triathlon Canceled for 2020
At this time, after evaluating all options set forth by the Governor of Virginia and the State Health Department and reviewing the requirements set to host such an event, we are canceling the 2020 TriAdventure Kids Triathlon. We hate to cancel, but it is the safe thing to do.
All other TriAdventure races are on track as scheduled for now.
We understand and share the world’s concern regarding the serious outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and recognize the situation is dynamic and evolves each day.
We remain optimistic the remainder of our races this season will go as scheduled but continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation cautiously.
With the Kids Triathlon canceled due to the Corona Virus we are offering the following choices:
1. Donate Your Entry: Do nothing. We will mail you a receipt noting your tax-deductible donation to Fitness In Action, and you get to know that you are helping keep a small race going into the future.
2. Refund: Needs to be requested by July 12th.

Description
The TriAdventure Kids In Triathlon (KIT) Youth Triathlon was created to provide an educational platform for youth to have fun staying active. By focusing on swimming, cycling & running, our hope is to introduce participants to activities that offer lifelong healthy opportunities for physical achievement. Distances are appropriate for all children to successfully complete the race.
After June 26th, we can not guarantee t-shirts. We order extras but it's first come first serve for late registrations.
