R-MA Parents Association 2024 5K / 1K Event

Please join us for our 3rd Annual 5K / 1K Fun Run and Walk Event at Randolph-Macon Academy on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 sponsored by the R-MA Parents Association

(Rain Date: Sunday, April 14th, 2024, same times apply) 

Come for the run/walk - but stay for the fun! There will be food vendors, demonstrations, and fun activities for the whole family.

Free parking will be available next to the football field.  Race starts in front of football field scoreboard.

Important Race Day Information:

• Packet pick up for the public will occur starting at 7:30 am on the day of the race (Saturday, April 13th) down by the R-MA football field (200 Academy Dr, Front Royal). R-MA Student packet pick up will be held at lunch on Friday, April 12th. 
• The race will start at the R-MA football field, there will be parking available and attendants there to guide you. Parking is free.
• The day of the race there will be food and drinks available for purchase.

1K starts at 8:30 am (All ages welcome)
5K starts at 9 am 
Awards 10-10:30

Early Bird Pricing (ends 2/15/2024):

5K: $30 (R-MA Students $15)

1K: $10 (Until 3/15/24, after that 1K registration will be $15)

Preview Pricing (ends 3/15/2024):

5K:  $35 (R-MA Students $15)

Regular Registration (ends 4/10/2024):

5K: $40 (R-MA Students $15)

Day of Registration (4/13/24):  (Cash only for the day of registration)

5K:  $40  (R-MA Students $15)

1K: $15

Please note: All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions.

1K:  Participant ribbons 

5k: Cash prizes (in the form of a gift card) and a medal. 

Top 3 Female Overall:
1st = $150
2nd = $100
3rd = $50

Top 3 Male Overall:
1st = $150
2nd = $100
3rd = $50

IMPORTANT NOTES:  1. The race will be timed by Blue Ridge Timing; 2. Entire course is on the R-MA campus; 3. The bib and packet pick up dates/times will be announced closer to the race date; 4. If a bib is lost there will be a $5 fee charged for a replacement. 

This fundraiser supports the R-MA Parents Association mission to enhance educational and social programming throughout the year by providing assistance and resources for events such as, dances, teacher grants, student projects, J-Term, Teacher Appreciation, community service in Front Royal and so much more!
