Description
The proceeds from the Cuddle Walk & 5K, in Memory of Finn Parker Urgo, go to providing a charitable contribution to grieving families or children the age that Finn would have been. A worthy endeavor will be revealed at the beginning of the year in which the race will be run. Thank you for helping us continue giving the gift of time to families experiencing loss and life.
Last year, in 2018, this cause was a CUDDLE COT for Augusta Health L&D. Total cost: $3,200. The Cuddle Cot aims to give parents of stillborn babies more time to grieve & to make the journey a little easier. This cooling device preserves the baby in a bassinet or crib so that he or she can remain up to five days in the hospital room, giving the family more time with their baby.
