Dear Participants,

We regret to inform you that the upcoming 5K Run scheduled for August 10th has been cancelled due to a lack of entries. We understand this news may be disappointing, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Description

Please join us for the first annual Healthy Harvest Back to School 5K! We want to celebrate back to school in Halifax County and raise money for those in need!

There will be t-shirts given to the first 100 runners or walkers! We will have music, inflatables at the start/finish line, muffins, chip timing, and give away items! Bring the family! We will also have tie-dye shirts!!

Course Map

• Start at the Halifax Farmers Market
• Stay on main street all the way to the Jiffy store at Hwy 501
• Cross over Main Street (do a U-turn) and come back up Main
Street to Church Street which is beside Beth Carr Church. Take a
Right on Church Street
• Take a R ight on Maple Avenue
• Take a Right on Buena Vista. Continue around until you see a fork
in the road. Go Right (this is still Buena Vista -Road 1115)
• Take a Left on Lakeside (Road 1114) Continue around to the left
(this is still Lakeside -Road 1113)
• Take a Right on Maple Avenue and continue to Mountain Road
• Cross over Mountain Road and take the ist left which is Edmunds
Blvd.
• Take a Right on Blue Ridge Lane (this goes in front of the jail)
• Take a Left by the Sheriffs Department
• Cross over Main Street and continue past Abbott's Farm Supply to
the Finish at Healthy Harvest Community Garden Distribution
