Superhero Strides 5K and Fun Run

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, and we're holding our First Annual Superhero Strides 5K and Fun Run!

Show your support for children fighting life-threatening diseases by dressing up as a in your favorite superhero costume during your run. Be sure to post it to our event page. We're looking for the best costumes for both individuals and as a team! We're holding it the entire month of September, so pick the best day for you!

After your run, email your GPS map and time, along with any photographs to post in your superhero costume, and we'll post it on our website.

KIDS 13 AND UNDER RUN FOR FREE!

Prizes will be provided for:

• First, Second, and Third Place Times
• Best Superhero Costume (individual)
• Best Superhero Costume (team)
• Individual who raised the most funds
• Team who raised the most funds

All proceeds go to Addy's Colors, to help form positive and supportive programs for families of a child with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Your donation/sign-up fee goes to:

• Helping families to get COVID-19 care packages, with masks to help protect medically vulnerable children
• Resources for grief support groups for parents who have lost a child
• Financial resources to help families who need medical or mental health services
• Fun activities for children
• Respite care program for families (when we are able to safely go into homes again)

*Due to COVID-19, we will be making our run this year virtual for the safety of all participants.*
