MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY PARTICIPATING
The I Am Woman 5K partners with the Centra Foundation to raise funds for pediatric care. This ensures we can partner with our families and help them to live their best lives.
Funds raised have helped secure specialized newborn and pediatric equipment such as fetal monitors, radiant Panda warmers and Omni beds for the Intensive Care Nursery. This equipment allows us to treat children close to home.
100% of event proceeds raised through your participation and donations stay right here in Centra’s service area and make it possible for us to save the lives of our tiniest population!!
ENTRY CAP:
This event is limited to the first 400 entries (in person & virtual)

5K "IN PERSON" REGISTRATION:
$30 || Individual || 4/15 - 9/15
$35 || Individual || 9/16 - 10/23
$40 || Individual || 10/24 - (Race Day) 10/25
VIRTUAL 5K REGISTRATION:
$35 || Individual || 4/15 - 10/27
FAMILY PRICING (Parents and Children Only):
Available for 3-5 family members (Parents and Children Only). Register with this option and save $5.00 per registration. This option expires 10/24 (Fri.).
PACKET PICKUP
HAVE YOUR PACKET MAILED TO YOU.
We are pleased to offer USPS Priority Shipping, for an additional fee of $15.00, to those unable to pickup their packet at our packet pickup and/or live outside of our area. Packets will be mailed the week of October 19th.
You may also pick up your packet (no additional charge).

RACE DAY October 25th, 7-7:30pm at our start finish, Centra Alan B. Pearson Regional Cancer Center, 1701 Thomson Dr., Lynchburg, VA 24501.
T-SHIRTS, AWARDS, FINISHER MEDALS
T-Shirts
Moisture wicking shirts up to size 2XL. Deadline for guaranteed t-shirt is 10/3 (Fri.). We will have a limited number of extra, however, they will be available on a first come basis at packet pickup.
AWARDS & FINISHER MEDALS
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal!
Awards will be given Top 3 Overall , Top 3 Master Finishers, and Top 3 in each age group.
COSTUME CONTEST
It's Halloween weekend....let's celebrate. Costumes are encouraged. As a matter of fact, it's become quite the tradition. We will give special prizes for the very best costumes.

VIRTUAL RESULTS:
1. PICKUP YOUR FINISHER MEDAL & T-shirt at Packet Pickup
2. COMPLETE YOUR 5K, Friday October 24th - Monday October 27th
3. UPLOAD YOUR RESULTS via the RunSignUp website or text them.
Participants will have the ability to report their result, for their event, directly to our RunSignUp Results page or by text message.
Instructions will emailed to participants the week before the event and will also be found on our registration page.
