*Packet pick up on April 28, 2023 4:00PM - 7:30PM at the Hungry Mother State Park Discovery Center or before the race from 7:30AM-8:30AM

*Proceeds from the event will fund field trips for the students in the special education program at Oak Point Elementary School

*5K Course Description: This course offers beautiful views of Hungry Mother Lake and the surrounding Mountains. The course is a loop with a common start and finish. Start at the Event Center at Hungry Mother State Park and head north on the lake loop trail. Cross through the parking lot and then turn left onto East Hungry Mother Dr. Follow East Hungry Mother Drive and turn right to access the Raider's Run Trail Head. When you reach the trailhead, follow the trail clockwise (flat/gradual uphill), continue straight onto the Old Shawnee Trail (flat with some gradual uphill, beautiful views) at the fork, continue straight to reconnect with the Raider's Run trail (fast downhill), this will take you back to the trailhead, follow the road back to the event center. The trail will be clearly marked with signs and volunteers the day of the event. 

*1K Course Description: The 1K option is fully accessible for individuals with mobility needs. This course is on smooth asphalt and circles the Event Center at Hungry Mother State Park. All 1K finishers will receive a participation ribbon. Convenient handicapped parking available and volunteers to support as requested.
