Jamborun Sunset 5K Run/Walk

Eastlake Community Church invites you to participate in the 3rd Annual Jamborun 5k, Saturday evening, October 31st. This is a community event open to all people, of all fitness levels, from the novice to the seasoned athlete.
We are also excited to offer glow in the dark t-shirts.

The event concludes the EastLake Community Church Fall Jamboree. Come early and bring the whole family to experience a petting zoo, laser tag, bluegrass music, free food, a chili cook off and an adventure trail for the kids.  Then enjoy a sunset race in the brisk fall air.

5K Run/Walk:  $25 (thru Oct. 29) || $30 Packet Pickup & Race Day (Oct. 30th)

COURSE(S):
The 5k will be held at East Lake Community Church (1201 Timberwood Drive, Moneta, Virginia  24121). The course is a double loop, 1.55 mile, cross country course that winds through much of the EastLake church property. Experience a lit course with 500 luminary bags adding to the beautiful Fall scenery. Expect rolling hills and beautiful mountain views.  It is challenging, but not daunting.  Walkers and people of all skill level are welcome.  This will be an official course with electronic timing for the competitive runner. 

PAPER REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT
Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event.

5K T-SHIRTS: Glow in the dark race shirts!
Participants registered on or before Wednesday OCTOBER 23rd are guaranteed. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on a first-come basis at packet pickup race morning.

5K AWARDS:
Top 3 Overall M/F and top 2 M/F in each age group (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older). Rankings are based on "chip" time.
