Smart Smiles come from Smart choices- smart health choices. With a focus on physical and emotional health, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula provides holistic health and wellness education and opportunities to members ages 6 through 18. Whether it be partnering with the Mobile Dentists who come to our Clubs to provide dental care; working with local culinary professionals to teach healthy cooking classes; providing kids with the appropriate avenues to receive council; and more- funds from our Smart Smiles 5K go toward providing kids across the VA Peninsula with the tools they need to succeed and the education they need to thrive.
$5 discount for active military. Students, and children under 18 years of age $20 registration. $10 discount for teams after initial registration.

Online registration closes on Friday, June 13th at 8 pm. Walk-up registration will be available on race day starting at 7 pm.

Calling all businesses, community organizations, and civic groups! Be a part of our vibrant event as a vendor at the 18th Annual Smart Smiles 5K. Connect with over 350 community members, dedicated volunteers, and the esteemed BGCVP staff. Set up your booth in front of the Mariners’ Museum in Newport News for an unforgettable networking opportunity! We are excited to receive your application.
