Lakewood Red, White, & Blue 5K and Fun Run

On Saturday, November 4th, Norfolk's newest city-wide choice school, Academy for Discovery at Lakewood is excited to host the second annual Red, White and Blue 5K and Fun Run. The 5K is a family friendly race beginning at the Academy for Discovery at Lakewood, taking you around Lafayette Shores and Lakewood neighborhoods and finishing back at the school. Prior to the 5K, there is a timed 1 mile Fun Run. All finishers will receive a race shirt, medal, and finish line video clip. Following the race there will be an after-party suitable for the entire family with a bounce house, games, and prizes.
