2024 Larchmont R.A.T. Race

Virtual R.A.T. RACE DETAILS

We have converted the event to a virtual run where participants can submit their times and we’ll still award top 3 prizes for each respective group. Virtual results can be submitted from September 27th - October 13th.

Added Packet and Virtual Race Medal Pick-ups

WHAT: Opportunity to pick up your race shirts and medal for the event. Or, if you already picked up shirts, come get your medal! 

WHEN: Wednesday, October 2 26th from 3:30PM - 5:30PM and Thursday, October 3rd 4:00PM - 5:00PM.

WHERE: 1145 Bolling Ave Norfolk, VA 23508; Side Entrance of Larchmont Elementary (the side entrance is located on the east side of the school building, closest to the school's parking lot)

WHO: All race registrants.  You may pick up packets for Friends & Family Members.  

2024 In-Person Race Canceled 

The 2024 in-person RAT Race scheduled for Friday, September 27th has been canceled due to safety concerns related to inclement weather conditions forecasted during our event time. Norfolk Public Schools has canceled all after school activities today, Friday, September 27. This includes our Larchmont Elementary School RAT Race. 

We are very sorry to have to cancel the in-person event but your safety and the safety of our student and family participants is our top priority. 

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Larchmont Elementary. 

PROCEEDS FROM THE 1 MILE AND 5K EVENTS BENEFIT THE LARCHMONT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTA

**If the race is canceled, there will NOT be a makeup time/location.  Registration is non-refundable.  At that time, the Race Committee will determine how to distribute race finisher medals to all registrants.**
